Ten years of nO-Ring®. Thirteen years of MAURON MUSY. The MU05 nO-Ring Origin was created to celebrate both by returning to the thinking that shaped our story.
Before nO-Ring® became a patented technology, it began with a question: could a mechanical watch achieve water resistance without relying on traditional gaskets? Three years of calculations, prototyping and repeated physical testing followed. The answer became nO-Ring®, and the engineering principle on which MAURON MUSY was built.
A PIECE OF OUR STORY, ON YOUR WRIST
Long before nO-Ring® became reality, it existed in Christophe Musy’s notebooks: handwritten calculations, sketches and unfinished lines of thought, worked and reworked as an idea gradually took shape.
For the first time, fragments of these private working notes have become part of the watch itself. Each dial carries a different piece of that thinking, while the handwriting continues onto the strap and around the wrist.
What was once part of the process is now part of the timepiece. A tangible fragment of the story behind MAURON MUSY, carried by the person who wears it.
ENGINEERING AT ITS CORE
At the heart of the MU05 nO-Ring Origin is a movement that holds a special place in our history: the skeletonised MM01-SK, the first calibre ever developed exclusively for MAURON MUSY. A milestone in our development as an independent manufacture, its open architecture reveals the components that bring the watch to life, while preserving the clarity and readability of the dial.
The 44 mm Grade 5 titanium case is built from 29 components. A complex construction at the heart of our patented nO-Ring® technology, achieving water resistance to 300 metres without a single gasket.

Each dial captures a different fragment of Christophe’s calculations. Not decoration created for an anniversary, but the real working notes behind an idea that helped define MAURON MUSY.
Twenty-six collectors will carry a piece of that thinking on their wrist. A different fragment for each, connected by the same story.
