THE ORIGINAL THINKING, MADE VISIBLE
The dial of the MU05-111 carries something that was never originally meant to be seen.
Printed onto its sandblasted black surface is a fragment of Christophe Musy’s original handwritten calculations from the development of nO-Ring® : working notes taken directly from the notebooks in which the technology first took shape.
Each of the thirteen MU05-111 dials carries a different fragment. Lines of reasoning appear, disappear beneath the architecture and continue beyond the edge of the dial, preserving the spontaneous character of the original notes.
The same handwriting is laser-engraved onto the strap, allowing a piece of that thinking to extend beyond the watch and around the wrist.
THIRTEEN FRAGMENTS. ONE ORIGIN.
The MU05-111 is the first of two executions created for the nO-Ring Origin anniversary edition, with just thirteen pieces produced in this configuration.
Its 44 mm Grade 5 titanium case alternates satin-brushed and polished surfaces, framing an open-worked dial where the black dial is punctuated by red-gold-toned details. Skeletonised luminous sword hands and small seconds at 9 o’clock complete the composition.
Beneath it sits the MM01-SK, a calibre with particular significance in our history: the first movement developed exclusively for MAURON MUSY.
Thirteen watches, each carrying a different fragment of the calculations behind an idea that helped define who we are.
